While having trouble with my streaing, I went back to an old DVD I love, about a woman who decides in mid-life to become a nun at a Benedictine Monastery. What a gem! Both the movie and the book it is based on. I want to share them both with you.
Decades ago, I moved to Los Angeles, California where the weather was more fair, ready to be a lawyer for which I had trained, but hoping to become a writer or radio broadcaster in which I had dabbled in college. The law and a steady income were more practical, but the tug of pure creativity never diminished. Another tug--of the soul--brought me back to my Catholic faith.
